An incomplete cast copper alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c. 1500-1600.
The buckle is double-framed, consisting of two D-shaped back-to-back with a cast integral crossbar. The upper and lower frames have mould crescentic decoration to either side of the crossbar, with the outer tips of each cresent flanking the outer frame, such that the outer frame appears to have outward turned 'horns'. The pin is missing.
