Silver coin. Groat, possibly of Edward III (1327-1372), possibly pre-Treaty period fourth coinage issue of 1351-1361, possibly series E of 1354-1355.

Obverse description: Facing bare shouldered bust with spread bifoliate crown with spurs as jewels within a nine arched tressure with trefoils or lis on its cusps.

Obverse inscription: EDWAR[--]D[-] G[--].Z.FRANC. [--], annulet stops.

Reverse description: Long cross, three pellets in each angle, legend in two orders.

Reverse inscription: (outer): [-]EVM.A/DIVTOR/EM.MEV/[--], inner: CIVI/TAS/LON/DON
