A knapped flint early Neolithic or early Bronze Age (c. 7001 to 1500 BC) scraper: In plan the scraper is a sub-oval and in profile is a thick trapezoid. On the dorsal surface, along the distal end and sides there is parallel, linear, abrupt, re-touch. The ventral surface has a bulb of percussion, very small bulbar scar and ripples. The scraper is knapped from a dark grey flint. The surface has a slightly waxy texture. The scraper, with the striking platform at the top, is 24.95mm long, 21.24mm wide and 8.7mm thick. It weighs 4.9g.
The scraper is a thumbnail scraper and dates to the early Neolithic to Bronze Age, c.7001 to 1500 BC.
