A copper alloy miniature vessel leg of probable Roman date (c. AD 43 - 410). The vessel leg is irregularly shaped and is oval in cross-section. It expands from the break point at the tip from a width of 5.75mm to a width of 9.77mm.. There is a small rectangular incision at this point of unknown purpose. Below this the leg narrows to a width of 3.45mm before expanding to a width of 5.45mm and bends into a D-shaped knee. The leg then bends back and terminates in a moulded foot incised with a horizontal circumferential groove. It measures 7.7mm wide and is 4.8mm thick at the foot.
