A fragment of a cast copper alloy probable finger ring of Roman date. The object is incomplete with each end terminating in an ancient break. The narrow end of the 'hoop' measures 3.28mm in width and 1.68mm thick. The object widens and expands to the opposite end, or shoulder, where it measures 7.73mm in width and is 5.01mm thick. It is D-shaped in cross-section. The object is undecorated with a mid to dark green patina which is corroded in places.
