Copper alloy thimble. Pressed metal domed thimble with a foot ring and a plain basal zone above it. The rest of the wall is covered by 13 rows of stamped circular pits arranged in diagonal lines ascending right to left. The top bears a rectilinear grid or lattice of square pits. One part of the wall is lost, but all of what remains is glossed by wear. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1750-1850.
