An Iron Age silver unit of Dubnovellaunus dating to the late 1st century BC. The coin has a bust facing left on the obverse, with annulets forming the hair and the letters DVB around the edge. The reverse depicts Pegasus leaping right with a ring and dot motif beneath the tail. A rectangular box is underneath Pegasus with the numerals XXXX within. This coin can be found in Hobbs (1996, no. 2443). The coin is in very good condition.
