A Post Medieval knop from the lid of a tobacco jar. It is octofoil with an integral rivet made from lead. The knop or handle has a high domed circular centre with eight petals around and has been compressed whilst buried. It weighs 14g and measures 20.2mm in height(width), 23.1mm in diameter. Compare
