A complete, Roman C3rd-C4th, struck or hammered, copper alloy, probable Radiate (Antoninianus) or possible Nummi (AE2/3) once debased or silver plated. Obverse:Vague possible head outline. Inscription: Illegible. Reverse: Central standing figure with helmet and holding a spear in left hand. Inscription: Illegible. Die axis: Possibly 6 o'clock. The coin is in worn or fine condition but very badly corroded only the reverse central figure visible with pale green and green matt surface with remnants of silvering around mainly the legend. This coin is likely to date to 200-350AD. Ref. Coins of England and the UK, Spink 2014, page 54-62. The coin is 20.72mm long, 20.09mm wide, 2.23mm thick, diameter 20.72 and weighs 3.6g.
