Fragment of a medieval sheet copper alloy rectangular buckle plate, the incomplete front part broken at both ends. Near one there are three closely spaced rivet holes, one containing a globular headed rivet. The other break truncates a centrally placed rivet hole, or possibly pin hole or pin slot. A line of rocker-arm engraving runs along the sides for the full length, and a curving line runs from side to side dividing the three rivet holes into one and two. Extant length 34mm. Width 14mm. 13th - 14th century.
