Front part of a medieval gilt sheet copper alloy buckle plate broken before the fold across a pin slot or hole, rectangular but slight narrower at the inside edge. There is a median row of three convex-headed rivets. A engraved wavy line runs parallel to the sides and inside edge. Extant length 20mm. Width 10 - 11mm. 13th - 14th century.
