A large retouched flint flake of probable Neolithic date. It is triangular in shape and is dark grey in colour and lightly patinated. A small amount of cortex remains on the distal end of the ventral face. The dorsal surface is more highly patinated and also has damage caused by a plough striking the face. The dorsal surface also shows evidence of the removal of flakes from this face in various directions, probably in an attempt to flatten the face. The ventral surface shows concoidal ripples extending down the surface from the pointed end where there is evidence of a point and bulb of percussion but most of which has been removed by short, sub-parallel, abrubt retouch. This retouch extends down both sides of the flake to the distal end. The distal end shows evidence of short, sub-parallel, abrubt retouch.
