A group of 33 pieces of flint debitage, the waste material from flint working. The debitage pieces probably range from early Mesolithic to early Bronze Age in date, about 9000 BC - 2200 BC.
They are all either flakes or chunks, of which 1 is chert. 2 flakes are secondary and the rest are tertiary.
The colour of the flint debitage ranges from brown/grey to white. The lighter flints have varying degrees of patination.
4 flakes show evidence of being burnt through crazed cracking to their surfaces. These are shown in image 1 column B row 3, column C row 3, and in image 2 column B row 4, column C row 4.
