A Prehistoric small flint flake dating from the Neolithic to Bronze Age period (4000 to 800 BC). The flake is roughly rectangular in shape with a point at one end which may have been used as an awl. There is evidence of retouching along one edge. The cross-section is roughly triangular. The flint is dark to mid grey in colour; a small amount of cortex remains in one corner covering both the ventral and dorsal sides.
