A cast copper-alloy annular buckle of Medieval date. It has an annular frame that is sub-circular in section, slightly faceted in places. Hinging around the frame is a separately cast copper-alloy pin that is rectangular in form, square in section with a transverse collar or grip at the frame end, and tapers to a blunt tip. The entire object measures 42.75mm in diameter, 4.42mm in thickness, and 22.11g in weight. This buckle is of Medieval date, c.14th century AD (cf. Egan and Pritchard, 1991: no. 36).
