A cast copper-alloy Post-Medieval (c.1600-1700) mount with a pair of integral pointed lugs on the reverse, both bent outwards. The mount is otherwise flat. It has two knops, one at each end, which were probably trifoliate in shape but are now too worn to see. Overall it measures 20.33 mm long, 10.51 mm wide, 1.27 mm thick (3.72 mm including the lugs) and weighs 1.1 g. Examples of this style can be found illustrated in Read (2001, 34; refs. 287, 288).
