An Early Bronze Age flat axe of Migdale metalwork assemblage, EBA phase III, that is c. 2100-1900BC. The axehead is sub-rectangular in plan with a narrow rounded butt and parallel sides which expand to the cutting edge. The butt end is rounded and measures 7.61mm in width and is 0.81mm thick. The cutting edge measures 28.90mm in width and is 1.18mm thick. At the central point of the object it measures 4.39mm thick.
The object has a rough mid-brown surface with two patches of light green corrosion.
