Roman copper alloy reversed fantail brooch, broken rearward hook, spring missing, two oblique lines on wings, bow has an engraved saltire, transverse lower rib with arris above the foot with twin oblique lines forming chevron on flanking projections at upper part of leg, one of two terminal lobes survives, foot tapers to grooved button foot, broken catch-plate on flat reverse.
