A flint broad blade of Early Mesolithic date, dating from about 9000 BC - 6500 BC. The flint is a tertiary blade and is a mottled grey colour, is semi-opaque and is not patinated. It is parallel sided being rectangular in plan and sub-triangular in section.There is no retouch visible but the blade appears to have been broken/snapped off at the distal end. It is 28.1mm long x 13.5mm wide x 3.7mm thick. Weight 1.78g.
