Part of a post-Medieval lead-alloy cloth seal.
The surviving disc bears a relief-stamped coat-of-arms, surrounded by a circular rim, on the left-hand side of which is a capital letter 'R'. Between the top of the shield and the aforementioned line border there is a horizontal line of three pellets. The circumferential legend cannot be deciphered and the arms are also unidentified. A beaded ring extends around the circumference. Part of the connecting strip projects from the edge of the disc. The reverse has a central casting flash, projecting remnant of a second disc, and textile impressions.
