An incomplete copper alloy Roman brooch of uncertain type dating to the period c. AD 50 - 200. Only the lower part of the bow, the foot and the catchplate remain. The bow is triangular in plan and tapers down to the foot. The bow features a series of horizontal nicks running along each longitudinal edge and four horizontal incised grooves positioned as pairs near the foot. The catchplate extends from the reverse of the foot and is damaged.

The brooch measures 33.44mm in length, 6.97mm maximum width, 1.51mm minimum width, is 1.24mm thick and weighs 1.96g.
