A late medieval to early post medieval sword or dagger scabbard chape missing its backplate. The chape has a crenellated top edge, nine cast holes, and radiating 'scallop-shell' grooves at the closed end, and a basal knop. There is evidence of silvering on the inside.

Weight 15 g, height 43 mm, and width 32 mm.
