A Roman ceramic rim fragment from a bowl of unclassified type (AD 43-409).
The rim is everted and the grey fabric is tempered with finely crushed flint. It has traces of burnishing on the outer face. When complete, the outer diameter of the rim would have been about 16.0cm. The breaks are abraded.
A surface find in the inter-tidal zone.
