Medieval copper alloy strap plate, broken (two joining pieces) rectangular front plate, flat-sectioned with four rivet-holes, each containing a copper alloy rivet, and a break at mid-point across central perforation, ends damaged, Remains of engraved rocker-arm saltire and border. Surviving length 34.5mm. Width 19mm. Thickness 0.7mm. Cf. Egan and Pritchard 1991, 225-6, fig. 141 nos. 1207 and 1216. Late 14th - early 15th century.
