A probable incomplete, Age uncertain Roman-Georgian, cast, lead alloy, medium size, conical shape unofficial weight. Relatively narrow conical shape with an oval, flat base. The apex has a broken or mis-cast cleft in the top and down the side a little. This could have had a suspension loop or wire loop but is now missing. There is a light brown coloured matt surface with a pale grey patina. This weight is of uncertain date 43AD-1799AD. Ref. Detector Finds, Gordon Bailey, Greenlight Publishing 1992, page 52-57 No. 16 & 17 and Detecor Finds 2, Gordon Bailey, Greenlight Publishing 1993, page 29-34 No. 21, 28 & 36. The weight is 23.95mm long, 19.08mm wide, 16.49mm thick, diameter 19.08 and weighs 25.9g.
