A complete, Early-Mid Roman, Struck or hammered, copper alloy - bronze sestertius coin. Obverse: Probable vague laureate bare head right or possible female head. Inscription: Illegible. Reverse: Probable standing central figure. Inscription: Illegible. Die axis: 6 o'clock. Although very worn, fair condition and badly corroded this coin appears to have a rounded square shape which is common to the early 2nd Century. This coin is likely to date to 43AD-250AD. Ref. Coins of England and the UK, Spink 2014, page 50-57. The coin is 27.12mm long, 24.77mm wide, 3.60mm thick, diameter 27.12mm and weighs 8.3g.
