A subcrescentic piece of gold, broken at either end and probably representing part of an ingot. The solid-cast piece is of roughly pointed-oval section, with irregular surfaces and breaks.
Length: 40.7mm; width: 21.7mm; thickness: 9.8mm. Weight: 66.63g.
This piece was viewed by several British Museum curators, who deemed its form to be undiagnostic. It was not reported as an item of potential treasure.
