A copper-alloy terminal pendant, possibly from a shoulder belt dating to the third century AD. The pendant comprises a symmetrical, flat leaf-shaped plate, the outer edges of which are slightly bevelled. The plate is openwork in design: a thin flat, rectangular central bar (broken) with a triangular extension is flanked by two scrolls. The central bar and scrolls meet at the apex of the plate in a bifurcated terminal. At the attachment end, there is a small rectangular plate, from which extend two circular lugs with circular piercings forming a hinge. A circular-section cross bar secures the remains of a 'T'-shaped piece of copper-alloy with circular attachment loop and piercing. The pendant measures 49mm in length, a maximum of 37mm in width and 1mm in thickness. The attachment plate and lugs measure 10mm in length and 6mm in width. It weighs 9g.

A larger harness pendant with a similar openwork design was found at Dura (Bishop and Coulston 2009, 191, fig. 191, no. 13). See also an example from Pfunz, which may also originally have possessed a hinge rather than suspension loop for attachment (Oldenstein 1976, 247 and Taf 32, Cat No. 231).
