An incomplete copper-alloy Colchester (one-piece) brooch, dating from the Late Iron Age to Early Roman period.
The wings are of flat section and straight-sided. The two prongs which project from the centre of the head's underside represent the remains of the spring and rearward lug. The bow is of 'D-shaped' section, its straight sides tapering towards a pointed foot. No trace remains of the pin or catchplate.
