ECGBEORHT REX obverse type depicting legend surrounding a circle of pellets with Saxon written in the centre (S is reversed). VVIHTNOD-MOE reverse type depicting legend surrounding a circle of pellets with a cross in the centre. Edges of both sides have a circle of pellets. Initial mark is a cross pattee. Moneyer Winoth (or Wihtnoth) West Saxon mint (Winchester). North Vol I page 88, no 589.
