A group of two lithic implements of Neolithic date.
1. A complete flint scraper of Neolithic date (4000-2350 BC). The lithic is sub-triangular in profile and plano-convex in section. The dorsal surface has three predominant negative scars with corresponding arrises. The proximal and distal ends have been abruptly blunted and left and right hand edges contains regular semi-abupt retouch. The ventral surface has a small bulb of percussion and ripples of pecussion emanating from the proximal end. The lithic retains a no cortex and is therefore a tertiary flake.
The flint is cream in colour with light brown inclusions throughout.
Length: 39.50mm, Width: 19.44mm, Thickness: 8.98mm, Weight: 4.60g.

The dorsal surface contains three predominant negative scars and corresponding arrises. The proximal and distal ends have been abruptly blunted and the left and right hand edges contain rough, paralell flaking and semi-abrupt retouch. The ventral surface has shallow ripples of percussion emanating from the proximal end. The lithic retains no cortex and is therefore a tertiary flake.
The flint is grey in colour with cream and dark grey inclusions throughout.
