A group of six worked flakes:

1. A complete flint worked flake of Neolithic date (4000-2350 BC). The lithic is sub-triangular in profile and plano-convex in section. The dorsal surface contains three predominant negative scars with corresponding arises. All edges contain rough semi-abrupt retouch. The ventral surface is smooth with ripples of percussion emanating from the proximal end. The lithic retains no cortex and is therefore a tertiary flake

The flint is a brownish grey in colour.

Length: 34.60mm, Width: 32.14mm, Thickness: 3.50mm, Weight: 4.10g.

2. A complete flint worked flake of Neolithic date (4000-2350 BC). The lithic is sub-ovate in profile and plano-convex in section. The dorsal surface contains three predominant negative scars and corresponding arrises. The proximal and right hand edges have been abruptly blunted and the distal and left hand edges contain partial scaled flaking and irregular semi-abrupt retouch. The ventral surface contains a single negative scar situated along the left hand edge and distinct ripples of percussion emanating from the proximal end. The lithic retains no cortex and is therefore a tertiary flake.

The flint is light grey in colour with cream inclusions throughout.

Length: 24.21mm, Width: 23.68mm, Thickness: 4.89mm, Weight: 2.90g.

3. A complete flint worked flake of Neolithic date (4000-2350 BC). The lithic is sub-triangular in profile and concavo-convex in section. The dorsal surfacecontains two predominant negative scars with a single corresponding arrise. The proximal amd distal edges have been abruptly blunted. The left and right hand edges contain irregular semi-abrupt retouch. The ventral surface has ripples of percussions emanating from the proximal end. The lithic retains no cortex and is therefore a tertiary flake.

The flint is grey in colour with cream inclusions throughout.

Length: 31.72mm, Width: 30.14mm, Thickness: 6.24mm, Weight: 6.10g.

4. A complete flint worked flake of Neolithic date (4000-2350 BC). The lithic is sub-rectangular in profile and plano-convex in section. The dorsal surface contains two predominant negative scars with corresponding arises. The proximal and distal ends have been abruptly blunted and a minor amount of cortex is retained along the proximal left hand edge. The left and right hand edges contain fine-low angle retouch. The ventral surface has a shallow bulb of percussion situated at the proximal end with ripples of percussion emanating from it. The lithic retains a minor amount of cortex and is therefore a secondary flake.

The flint is light brown and grey in colour. The cortex is dark cream in colour.
