An incomplete lead steelyard weight dating to the Roman period. It is plum-bob shaped and sub-circular in section. It has the corroded remains of an iron rod which runs through the centre of the weight and is visible at both ends. It would have originally had a suspension loop at the top which is now missing. It is covered in a light cream/yellow patina.
