An incomplete and very worn silver halfcrown of Charles I (AD 1625-1649). Group III issue, struck at the Tower mint under Charles between c.AD 1634-1643. The identifiaction is based on the style of the horse's legs; the initial mark is not visible on either face. North N2209 or 2211.
