A copper alloy (plated silver) Roman coin; a contemporary copy (a plated copy) of a denarius of Antoninus Pius (AD 138 - 161), dating from AD 155 - 156 (Reece Period 7), TR POT XIX COS IIII reverse depicting Annona facing left (holding corn ears) and resting her left hand on a modius set on a prow. Mint of Rome. RIC Volume II number 249. The coin is 16.71mm diameter, 2.42mm thick, 2.66g.
