A complete silver-gilt dress hook. The object is formed from a trefoil plate, the edges of which are notched, with three hemispherical bosses to the upper aspect. Each boss is encircled by filigree rope work decoration and four raised knops are present, one at the centre of the plate and one at the junctures between each of the three bosses. On the reverse of the trefoil plate an integral rectangular attachment loop is present at the widest point while a separately attached curved hook extends from the opposite end. The hook is bent backwards in a U-shape and retains its sharp point.
