A copper alloy heraldic mount probably dating to the post medieval period.
The object is circular in plan with irregular, damaged edges. One side of the object is flat and undecorated whereas the other side features an ornate, heraldic motif of one shield, divided in two vertically. The right side of the shield has a possible dragon design while the left features a simple saltire. There is no evidence for any enamel or other surface treatment.
