A complete lead spindle whorl dating to the medieval period, c. AD 1200 to 1500.
The object is circular in plan with a central, circular hole in the middle. It is biconvex in profile. One side of the object has a pattern of three raised pellets in cells defined by raised lines. The other side of the object is much more worn although the remains of some pellets can be seen.
