A Medieval silver coin; a penny probably of Edward IV, light coinage, York mint under Archbishop George Neville, but too worn to see the initial marks and to identify the class. There is a letter G to the left of the neck, and a key on the right. The coin is incomplete and the legends are illegible. See North numbers 1594 - 1599 or 1645 - 1651.

The coin is 14.94mm in diameter, 0.56mm thick and weighs 0.6g.
