Roman copper alloy furniture mount, a "bell-shaped stud" with the remains of an iron shank embedded in the underside. Very similar to Allason-Jones and Miket 1984, no.3.889. Diameter 33-4mm. Height (excluding iron) 24mm. Mid 1st - 4th century.
