An incomplete cast copper-alloy buckle frame of Medieval date. It is an oval buckle frame with an integrally cast forked spacer. The pin is missing due to old breaks. There is a central notch on the outside edge of the frame which would have formed a rest for the pin.
The object has not been seen by the recorder and the identification is from the photograph. Unfortunately there is no scale.
It is similar to objects recorded from London, eg Egan & Pritchard, 1991, no 326
