Silver possible Brooch fragment. Beaten silver sheet fragment of thickness 0.3mm with a border of a finely rendered cable pattern set in a gully between ridges, and with elements of three of a series of drawn wire quatrefoils within this border. A plain segment masks the junction of two differently aligned elements of the border, suggesting that this, like the internal design, may be applied to the sheet. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1800-1900.
