A worn and corroded copper alloy annular buckle dating to the medieval period. The buckle is complete and retains its pin, which has a small area around the frame loop that hasn't corroded. No decoration evident. This type of simple annular buckle was in use for many years, however stratified examples from London have been dated to between AD 1270-1400.
