A flint knife dating to the Neolithic or early Bronze Age. The knife is made from an elongated flake. The flake is sub-rectangular in plan and triangular in section. The flake has a flat striking platform at the proximal end, and a bulb of percussion on the ventral surface. The dorsal surface has two main flake scars, with smaller ones towards the proximal end. The body has a light blue patina, and one flake scar is of a whiter coloured patina, possibly representing recortification. A line of retouch is visible along one side, and this area exposes the brown coloured flint beneath. This in turn suggests that the retouch is later than the flake. The retouch is short, sub-parallel and semi-abrupt.
