A late Medieval to early Post Medieval cast copper alloy double loop annular buckle with moulded floral decoration, c. AD 1450-1550. The frame is formed in the shape of a five-petalled flower and each petal is defined by a lateral incised line along the outer edge which frames multiple incised transverse lines. Traces of black laquer; the buckle frame has an even dark green patina. The pin is missing. Cf. Whitehead 2003, p. 47, no. 273-74.
