An incomplete copper alloy Roman T shaped brooch dating to AD 50-150. The pin is missing as is the lower part of the bow. At the top of the brooch the loop has broken off. There are then two arms which make a T bar. The bow is decorated with raised lines down the edge and horizontally which frame two lozengiform shapes surrounded by triangular spaces. Beneath the top framed section there is raised horizontal decoration. Cf Hattatt (1989) A Visual Catalogue of Richard Hattatt's Ancient Brooches p303 no 387.
