An incomplete badly twisted copper alloy Roman brooch probably Hod Hill dating to AD 43-75. The pin is missing and the brooch is bent. At the top of the brooch the top curls forward to form the attachment for the pin. The remnants of the catchplate extends out from the lower part of the bow.
Notes:
This artefact was found in the late 1990's and has been recorded on the database from a paper record. It has not been seen in person by the recorder.
