An incomplete copper alloy Roman Hod Hill brooch dating to AD 43-75. All that remains of the brooch is the lower part of the bow and catchplate. The front of the brooch is decorated with four vertical lines with zigzag lines between the two central lines. The lower part of the brow then narrows to a point. The catchplate extends back from the lower part of the bow. Cf Hattatt (1989) A Visual Catalogue of Richard Hattatt's Ancient Brooches p320 no 312 or 311.
