A copper alloy Iron Age Langton Down brooch dating to AD 25-60. The pin of the brooch is missing. At the top of the brooch, there are two arms which form a T bar and are decorated with vertical lines. The bow extends from the T bar and there are four decorative vertical lines to the bottom. The foot of the bow appears to be broken but ws probably squared off. The catchplate extends back from the lower part of the bow and has two decorative holes in it. Cf Hattatt (1989) A Visual Catalogue of Richard Hattatt's Ancient Brooches p306 no 769.
