A Roman radiate of Claudius II, dating from AD 268 to 270 (Reece Period 13).'PROVIDENT AVG' reverse type depicting, providentia standing left with legs crossed, leaning on column holding baton and cornucopiae, at foot globe. It measures 22mm in diameter and weighs 1.47g. Cf. RIC vol V; pg. 218, no. 91c. (As RIC 91c but reverse type RIC 96, noted by finder)
